A program that surprised and delighted in equal measure, because the duo interpreted the unknown side of Kreisler in a charming way that made you smile and think in equal measure. This was excellent entertainment with the necessary attitude.

However, there are hundreds of other chansons from his pen which, despite being little known, tickle the heart, brain and diaphragm and skillfully put their finger in the wounds of society. In “The Unheard of by Georg Kreisler”, an exclusive selection of rarely performed songs is reinterpreted from today’s perspective by the award-winning chansonnier Max Dollinger and the sensitive pianist Achim Schneider. The young singer Max Dollinger has been engaged at the Saarländisches Staatstheater since 2021 and has recently performed chanson programs in Weimar, Munich, Leipzig and Berlin, among others. The Saarbrücken pianist Achim Schneider is a much sought-after musical director of musical productions, bands and big bands throughout Germany.
