I, Max Dollinger, love to speak, sing and play for my life. Fortunately, I was able to make this my profession and work as a classical baritone singer. Having grown up on stage at the Franconian municipal theater in various children’s and youth roles, my studies led me to Leipzig and my good fortune as a baritone at the State Opera Hannover.

The 2024/25 season is gradually coming to an end and the last weeks and final performances are coming up. Then there will be a turning point: From August, I will join the ensemble of the Hanover State Opera and leave the beautiful Saarland after four, happy years with a laughing and crying eye. Before that, however, I can still revive my Papageno in the new production of “DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE” and bid him a fitting farewell. I have longed for this debut like no other for a long time and I am delighted for all those who would like to celebrate the farewell performances with us all.
